Doctor Mascola is friendly, highly qualified, and works warmly and collaboratively to help persons find resilience and strength when times are challenging. He has consulted with individual persons, families, schools, and select agencies to promote health and well being. He served previously as the Director of Education and Evidence Based Practices at Stanford University in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. He has expertise in multiple Cognitive Behavioral Therapies as well as expertise in the use of medications and other scientifically supported methods of health promotion and has enjoyed consultation, teaching, and research in many areas in Behavioral Medicine including: promoting healthy physical activity, eating and sleep patterns, enhancing academic and work performance, improving decision making and emotion regulation, reducing burnout, depression and anxiety, improving emergency services efforts in first responders, improving social connectedness and fellowship, promoting faith and spiritual life.
